Yes, it is possible to make instant reservations as long as the host has enabled this option in the rental listing. The host can choose to offer instant booking, which guarantees the preferred dates, or set up a booking request, which does not guarantee immediate confirmation of the selected dates.
We currently work with two major payment gateway providers that offer global coverage. On one hand, we have a partnership with PayPal, which allows transactions from its platform as well as from popular external sources like VISA and MasterCard. On the other hand, we partner with Mercado Pago, which primarily serves the Americas and accepts payments from its own funds, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Google Pay, Apple Pay, among others.
Hosts can define and manage their preferred payment methods for receiving rental income. This option is available under the “Host Profile” section in “Payment Information.” Payment methods can be changed at any time according to the host’s preferences.
The booking process typically takes an average of 5 minutes for listings with instant booking. For listings that require authorization, confirmation can take up to 24 hours.
